The upcoming total solar eclipse provides a rare and exciting opportunity for photographers. It is also a rare and exciting opportunity to observe parts of the sun that are normally obscured. Andrew Resnick has considerable training in optical imaging and will present information and ideas to help you view the eclipse through your eyes, with a smartphone, or through a viewfinder, safely. The content of this talk will be directed to photographers at all levels, ranging from no-phone-newbies and smartphone/GoPro selfie experts to serious amateurs, artists, and professionals. It is my hope that you will be inspired to try photographing this upcoming event!
