As we approach a total eclipse of the Sun in April, in which Cleveland will be in the path of totality, take an opportunity to think about the eclipse as captured and depicted on film and in movies. Ygal Kaufman, journalist, filmmaker, and exhibitioner, will talk about and show some examples from the modern and historical films that deal with the eclipse, as well as delve into the science of the eclipse on celluloid film and modern digital technologies, and the philosophical connections between the eclipse and moving images.
